From the Center Director
Now, generative AI becomes more prevalent in society and information technology is beginning to play an important role in various fields of society. In recent years, machine learning, which is one of the artificial intelligence technologies, has produced a succession of practical systems, including generative AI, and we have heard news about artificial intelligence technology constantly. The Center of Advanced Information Technology Research, which is attached to the College of Science and Engineering at Aoyama Gakuin University, was founded to promote cutting-edge research and educational activities in information science, focusing on the four research fields of Human Informatics, Sensing and Control, Modeling and Optimization, and Computational Intelligence, and of returning the results of that research to society.
By keeping up with the trends of the times, we aim to achieve further technological innovation and we will continue to develop the infrastructure and systems to promote research projects, mainly through internal and external collaboration, in order to further enhance the presence of Aoyama Gakuin University’s technology.
