Welcome to the College of Science and Engineering at Aoyama Gakuin University. Our missions are to make discoveries in the natural sciences and to develop new technologies which promote global sustainability. To fulfill these missions, we offer cutting-edge programs for students to fully explore and develop their potential. Our college is comprised of seven departments: Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemistry and Biological Science, Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, and Integrated Information Technology. Each department offers degrees in science and engineering and unique curricula for achieving the fundamental knowledge and experience necessary to connect students to higher education programs and research projects at our graduate school and/or in our various Ph.D. programs. At the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, we provide enriching environments to develop students’ research abilities and skills needed to become experts in each research field. We also offer international master’s and doctoral programs. In these programs, we accept international students who have graduated from overseas universities and provide classes in English to help them achieve their degrees at Aoyama.

To create leading-edge technologies, the College of Science and Engineering maintains four research centers: Center for Advanced Technology, Center for Instrument Analysis, Advanced Information Technology Research Center, and Life Science Research Center. These state-of-the-art research facilities have created an environment where students and faculty members are collaborating to make a positive impact on the world.
